• Casual Dining. Lighter fare open for lunch, dinner, and sometimes breakfast. Includes lobster pounds, barbeque, sandwiches, pizza, soup, and ice cream. May be self service and items are often served in disposable containers suitable for takeout. Seating sometimes is outdoors and open to the weather.

• Full-service Restaurants. All are open for dinner, some open for lunch and breakfast. Include diners, bistros, cafes and white tablecloth service. Menus vary widely and some offer takeout. Relaxed dress code in most places.
