Seal Cove Auto Museum Presents: Cars & Coffee: Two-Wheelers
9AM - Noon: An opportunity for drivers to show off their own special cars, and for all auto enthusiasts to congregate to kick tires, peer under hoods, and enjoy coffee with their fellow car-lovers. All are welcome, with or without their own antique or vintage automobile. The October Cars & Coffee will feature motorcycles and other two- and three-wheelers. 207-244-9242

Acadia's 24th Annual Oktoberfest
Noon - 5PM: Join us at Smuggler's Den Campground under the big tent for our annual brewfest! More than 20 brewers, pouring more than 60 craft beers for your tasting pleasure. Birding Walk with Michael Good
12:30PM: Explore the birds of the Seawall Picnic area with Michael Good, founder of the Acadia Birding Festival. Seawall Picnic area is one of the most consistent places on MDI for seabirds of all types including Common Eider, American Black Duck, Black Guillemot, Common Loon, Northern Gannet, and a variety of Scoter. Lighthouse Cruise
3PM: Climb aborad the Elizabeth T. and bring your camera! We will visit 3 local lighthouses from the water side so you can take photographs. More information to come. Click here for tickets!

Southwest Harbor Historical Society Presents: Past Insults, Planned Restorations, and Preparing for an Uncertain Future in the Marshall Brook Watershed
7PM: Brian Henkel, Wild Acadia Project Coordinator. The Marshall Brook watershed, including Bass Harbor Marsh, has been impacted by many activities. Friends of Acadia, along with Acadia National Park, are working to assess and hopefully repair some of these impacts. Brian Henkel will discuss some of the known impacts and potential improvements to promote ecological integrity. Click for more info.

Lobstering Cruise with Sail Acadia
10AM: Sail aboard the 1899 Friendship Sloop Alice E with Karl Brunner of Sail Acadia. Built in the early 1900s, Friendship Sloops were used by coastal fishermen to haul lobster traps by hand under sail. Karl will demonstrate sailing and lobster fishing during this special cruise. Enjoy spectacular views of Park from the water, Bear Island lighthouse, and more. Only 6 seats - click for tickets.

MDI Marathon Ferry
